Solar First Group to Exhibit at IGEM 2026

Solar First Group to Exhibit at IGEM 2026

September 30, 2026

From October 7 to 9, 2026, the International greentech & eco products exhibition & conference Malaysia (IGEM 2026) will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Solar First Group will exhibit at Booth 2019-2022, presenting floating solar systems, the HORIZON D+ Smart Tracking System, ground mounting, and rooftop mounting. These offerings address a wide range of application scenarios—including water surfaces, large-scale ground-mounted power plants, commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, and distributed PV systems—and deliver highly reliable, adaptable PV mounting system solutions that support the efficient implementation of clean energy projects in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

IGEM 2026 stands as a key exhibition for green technology and eco-products in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Centered on renewable energy, green building, environmental protection technologies, and sustainable development, it convenes policymakers, project developers, technology suppliers, and industry experts, offering an efficient platform for business exchange and cooperation in the Malaysian and ASEAN markets.

For large-scale ground-mounted PV projects in Malaysia, Solar First Group’s HORIZON D+ Smart Tracking System is capable of flexible adaptation to complex terrain. It adopts a 2P multi-drive electrical architecture, advancing from single-point to multi-point driving, which considerably strengthens torsional rigidity and critical wind speed while effectively lowering pile foundation costs. Its low-inclination wind-resistant design can withstand extreme winds, adapt to continuous undulations and irregular terrain, and meet design requirements for steep slopes. In addition, it supports one-to-one independent control, which permits real-time oversight of the mounting structure’s operating condition, helping identify faults quickly and curb generation losses. By combining varying terrain data with live weather information, it intelligently adjusts tracking angles to further raise power output. The product has gone through rigorous wind tunnel testing and purpose-built structural design, yielding excellent overall stability and reliability. Practical application has confirmed that the system effectively lowers LCOE and improves IRR, greatly boosting project profitability and full-lifecycle value.

The floating solar system is engineered for Malaysia’s plentiful water resources and constrained land supply. It uses highly weather-resistant floats and dependable anchoring, making it suitable for reservoirs, lakes, tailings ponds, and other water environments. Its rail and front-rear support structures are simple, allowing convenient and efficient installation that helps shorten construction time; module spacing is adjustable to meet different installation angle requirements; cable channels can be arranged flexibly according to site layout to serve various cabling needs; and the system supports multiple anchoring options, including underwater pile anchors, concrete pile anchors, and shore pile anchors. The U-shaped steel connectors have an articulated design that effectively dissipates environmental loads such as wind and waves, improving overall system stability. The product has been tested and certified by a third-party organization, showing excellent float strength and overall reliability, which ensures long-term stable operation of floating power plants.

The ground mount system includes a PHC pile solution and an adjustable slope mounting solution, adapting flexibly to Malaysia’s varied geological and topographical conditions. The PHC pile solution uses prestressed high-strength concrete piles instead of traditional concrete foundations, providing strong load-bearing capacity and corrosion resistance, making it especially suited to soft soil foundations (such as swamps, coastal tidal flats, etc.) and fishery solar complementary projects. The adjustable slope mounting solution offers two foundation types — screw pile and C shaped steel pile — tailored for undulating and irregular terrain, with flexible and efficient installation that effectively lowers construction costs.

Rooftop mounting systems are also being displayed, covering commercial & industrial and residential distributed PV projects; together with the floating system and ground mount system, they form a full-scenario solution.

Committed to the philosophy of New Energy, New World, Solar First Group continues to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian new energy market. With product designs tailored to tropical climates and complex terrain, and supported by localized service capabilities, we provide Malaysian customers with end-to-end mounting solutions from scheme design to on-site support.

We sincerely invite industry partners to visit Solar First Group at Booth 2019-2022 for face-to-face exchanges, to discuss emerging trends and opportunities in the Malaysian and Southeast Asian PV markets, and to explore further cooperation possibilities. We look forward to meeting global partners in Kuala Lumpur to jointly advance the region’s clean energy transition through innovative technologies and reliable solutions. See you in Kuala Lumpur in October!
